Winter Weekend...At the Beach!

My long weekend was spent hiking, laying by the pool, and going to the beach with girlfriends. Who would've thought that it's January? THIS is why I moved to SoCal!

Saturday I went to Malibu to hike what I heard was a beautiful trail with a waterfall at the end. We get to the end, and it's dry. Completely dry. No water. It was very anti-climatic! It was still a nice hike and a beautiful day, and we had fun.

Saturday I spent some time laying out reading by the pool. My favorite place! Especially in January. What's winter?

Today I surprisingly had the day off and went back to Malibu and spent the day on the beach with some girlfriends. It was absolutely gorgeous weather and nice to spend time away from the city with friends.

Can't all weekends be long?!
